B.Sc. Cardiopulmonary Perfusion Technology:

PERFUSIONIST operates the heart-lung machine. This machine takes over the function of your heart and lungs. The functions include removing carbon dioxide, adding oxygen and then pumping this refreshed oxygenated blood back into the body.

Pedestrian-Friendly Pathways:

To promote a safe and pedestrian-friendly environment on campus, we will

implement the following measures:

  • Clearly marked and well-maintained pedestrian pathways throughout the campus.
  • Speed limits for bicycles and vehicles to ensure the safety of pedestrians.
  •  Regular maintenance and repair of pathways to ensure smooth and hazard-free walking surfaces.
  • Installation of benches, rest areas, and adequate lighting along pathways to enhance comfort and security.

Restricted Entry of Automobiles:

To promote a safe and pedestrian-friendly environment on campus, we will

implement the following measures:

promote environmental sustainability, Nandha Allied health sciences will enforce a

comprehensive ban on the use of plastics. This includes:

  • Elimination of single-use plastic items such as bags, bottles, and utensils in campus facilities.
  •  Promotion of reusable and eco-friendly alternatives.
  • Implementation of recycling programs for plastic waste generated on campus.
  • Awareness campaigns to educate the campus community about the harmful effects of plastic and the benefits of reducing its usage.

 Landscaping with Trees and Plants:

To enhance the aesthetic appeal and ecological balance of our campus, we will

prioritize landscaping initiatives:

  • Planting and maintaining a variety of native trees, shrubs, and plants across the campus.
  • Creation of green spaces and gardens for recreational and educational purposes.
  • Implementation of water conservation measures in landscaping practices.
  • Collaboration with local environmental organizations for tree planting drives and biodiversity conservation projects.

Implementation and Compliance:

 

Nandha Allied health sciences will establish a dedicated committee

responsible for the implementation and monitoring of this Green Campus and Environment

Policy. Regular audits will be conducted to assess compliance and identify areas for

improvement. The college community is encouraged to actively participate in

environmental initiatives and adhere to the guidelines outlined in this policy.
